Class 1 Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Hornsey N8 9DG
Any 5-6 days out of 7
Start times: Between 05:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Pay rate: £17.00 or £19.04 /h PAYE
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Class 1 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role offers a unique combination of responsibilities, ensuring that you stay engaged and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Perfect for someone seeking for experience on Class 1.
Your key responsibilities as a Class 1 / Warehouse Operative will include:
- Drive Class 1 vehicles to ensure timely and safe transportation of goods to designated destinations when runs are available.
- Perform warehouse duties including loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing products as required.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and cleanliness to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless coordination of deliveries and warehouse tasks.
- Adhere to all relevant driving and safety regulations to guarantee the safety of yourself and others on the road.
The Skills & Licence requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driving license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver and in warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Flexibility to work 5-6 days out of 7 per week, with start times ranging from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- A positive and adaptable attitude in a dynamic work environment.
