Materials Planner / Buyer
Location: Redditch

Are you an experienced Materials Planner or Buyer looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring the smooth procurement of raw materials and goods while driving supplier performance and process improvements.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing purchasing functions, placing and expediting orders to prevent delays.
- Negotiating lead times and resolving supplier issues to maintain seamless operations.
- Maintaining SAP system data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Supporting inventory control, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), and process improvements.
- Collaborating across teams to optimise material flow and demand planning.
- Actively monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and regular reviews.
What Our Client Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in materials management and procurement within manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, MPS, and scheduling techniques.
- CIPS certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
