Shunter/Loader Driver

Location: Bury St Edmunds IP32

£15.39 P/H - NIGHT SHIFT SUNDAY TO THURSDAY 22:00 - 06:00
£17.75-£23.66 P/H - OVERTIME

FULL TRAINING PROVIDED - MUST HOLD A CLASS 2 LICENCE.
SECURE ONGOING POSITIONS - IMMEDIATE START, TEMP TO PERM FOR THE RIGHT PERSON.

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading logistics and distribution companies based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, who are looking for a shunter/loader to join their team!

Own transport is essential due to the location of the warehouse.

Your responsibilities as a shunter/loader:

• Ensuring the safe movement of vehicles around the depot
• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
• Manoeuvring vehicles into wash areas
• Manoeuvring vehicles into correct loading bays ready for loading
• Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
• Ensuring vehicles are parked ready for the next operating service.
• Marshalling

Shunter/loader driver- About you:

• Previous experience in a shunting role preferred.
• Self-motivated individual
• Dedicated flexible and reliable.
• Excellent attendance record
• Physically capable as this is a relatively demanding job.
